Codak Cowboy

Codak Cowboy is a real estate photography and videography business owned by Dakota Hartfield, a young entrepreneur. His original logo features two horseshoes overlapping each other which made it difficult to see the design of one of the horeshoes. I suggested keeping the idea of the two horseshoes but simplifying it and putting a gap on one of the horseshoes so when they intertwine together it's more clear.

For the website he wanted it to be easy to use, showcasing his services and have a professional look to it. I chose the font “Avenir” because it has a large font family and it has a simple clean look to it, which is what he was looking for. The website is all about showcasing his services, therefore a “gallery” and “services” page was added. The gallery page gives samples of what he can do and the services page showing pricing what the client receives. For the about page, He wanted an about and a contact page. I suggested we combine those pages into one, that way it didn’t complicate the website and people could immediately contact him.
