THE VESSEL

This zine is based off of the video game "Hollow Knight". The purpose of this zine was to showcase parts of the world, bosses and characters scattered throughout the Hollow Knight world. For this zine I chose to go with a more sketch-like style and I also mimicked the actual game's style as well. I wanted this zine to feel as if the player is getting a behind the scenes of the game, almost like the 'storyboards' of the game. By mimicking the actual game's style it shows the viewer for the most part what the actual game will look like.

I also chose to make this zine strickly black and white, giving it a more mysterious feel. The game goes between having lots of color to having limited color based on what part of the world you're at. Keeping it black and white makes everything look cohesive.
