The purpose of this project was to create a gig poster of a band of our choosing and design it based on one of the band's songs. I chose their song called "Zero". The challenge was to design a poster using one or two colors. I chose the color orange and used different shades of that orange. 

In the song "Zero" it says, "Hello hello let me tell you what it's like to be a zero zero". The song sounds like someone is on the phone telling someone else what it's like to be a zero and talking about their life. I decided to depict the song by illustrating an old telephone with a note next to it giving the band details, along with having the word "hello hello" scattered around the background. I chose an old phone because I felt that it was the best way to illustrate a phone. Another detail I added was I made all the numbers on the phone keypad zeros, as another reference to the song title and lyrics.
